On Friday 17th May, Sure will sponsor a charity golf day, raising money for teenage cancer charity Teens Unite at Whitehills Golf Club, Hertfordshire.
The charity have raised an appeal to open the UK mainland’s first purpose-built retreat, designed to give short-term care specifically to 13-24 year olds who have battled or are battling cancer.
While cancer is very often in the news, a stat you may not hear very often is that seven teenagers a day hear the words they have cancer, with around 17,000 currently living with the disease.
We aim to raise as much as possible for this initiative throughout the day, with golfers wearing symbolic orange in support. If you would like to learn more about the work of Teens Unite and the House of Teens Unite, please click here.
